The company knows how to staff, they're just dragging their feet hoping that, somehow, they won't have to pay what it's going to take to staff.
And yeah, a better base will help; just look at Mesa and their ability to get people to show up. Although that could be coming to a close.
From my understanding, PSA management has been more than willing to work with our Union regarding improving things to attract new pilots. It's AAG that doesn't want to cough up any more money. Apparently PSA management has taken ideas to AAG and been stonewalled every time.
