While I'm sure that 12 hour days in the crew room or crashpad isn't fun, they seem to feel its worth the ultra commutability on both ends.
Good for them, I'm glad they don't mind trying to occupy themselves for the 12 plus hours between trips. That also doesn't assume that all CDO lines went to commuters, or that all commuters are willing to accept the attempt to sleep in the crew lounge or midday in a crashpad when some CDO trips have 5 hours or so between legs at a hotel. That also leaves the more than one hundred lines that are mostly not commutable.
Not acceptable. The commutability took a dump when CDO's showed up. We got promised better schedules when we got CDO trips back, but is sure looks like those trips were made better for the locals, not the commuters who were hung out to dry.
