That's a long term issue resulting from a government of, for and by corporate America who short sightedly don't like high (much less minimum) wages, unions or even taxes for corporations or the executives who run them. I realize that the hangover from a Global economic crisis (nearly a depression) brought on by deregulation of the banks is no small matter. Romney's campaign promises were far less than the Obama/Bernanke recovery. Thankfully we have had reality-based leadership for the last seven years unlike the Republican primary clown car.
