I can't say it is bad situational awareness or even comment on the topic on hand but a hijab doesn't look good with most required US airline uniforms. Whatever religious doctrine this gate agent follows is so strict it won't allow her to take the hijab off for 8 hours a day? If there were a god would this god really be concerned about people wearing a hijab at all times? If there were a god would this entity even comprehend the concept of a hijab? I'm all for religious freedom and all personal freedoms, walk around naked if you want, worship whatever god you want but at work you can't wear the required uniform for 8 hours? Why take a job if you can't commit to wearing the required uniform? If my religious doctrine requires that I wear a 3 foot tall cowboy hat at all times how many airlines are going to accommodate that? Are they going to be required to order airplanes with bigger cockpits to accommodate my beliefs and customs?
