The employees will be left with a dying airline that lost its customer base to airlines that put effort into retaining them.

The same is true for the management at envoy. The Ric Wilsons, Neiders, and Pedro's of the world are just interested in self preservation of their cushy office jobs. They aren't flowing. They know they have a great family job that pays well, as long as they do whatever they are told to do by their puppeteers. This way, somehow, the puppeteers have once or more removed themselves from the lies.
