No guarantees in this industry. Definitely have a contingency plan on the back burner in the event that you get stuck as an FO making $22/hr (which is a good possibility) with Mesa's industry worst health insurance premiums and budget overnight hotels.
And that's another thing, aside from pay our overnight hotels are the worst part of working here. You will feel safer not wearing a condom with a random off tinder than sleeping in the buff at some of these nasty places. Not even kidding.
Don't be so hasty to take iFlyRC's advice. I think he has good intentions but he comes off as a company koolaid drinker. It's not horrible here on CA pay but you should definitely look elsewhere before coming here. If I lived close to IAD I'd look into this place:
