LCP, if you family doesn't get on the MIA flight the gate agent should automatically roll them to the next flight, most will make an announcement saying as much. As for the next flight, their priority will be once again racked and stacked based on your seniority date within your category (s2, s3, s3b, etc.) No different because you were rolled into this flight.
