If you plan on fulfilling your promise of one year, then what's the big deal about the contract? There was a contract before but no real penalty and noone had a problem with that. Maybe the real scumbags are the people that plan on breaking their promises.

I planned on fulfilling my contract when I started. Most of us did. One month on the line and morale was crushed. I was about to go back to instructing honestly. Just terrible treatment of FOs in general. Why would I want to work for a company that treats me like I don't matter and a piece of garbage? I sure seemed to matter after turning in my resignation though. That felt really good.
