If you plan on fulfilling your promise of one year, then what's the big deal about the contract? There was a contract before but no real penalty and noone had a problem with that. Maybe the real scumbags are the people that plan on breaking their promises.

I started at Cape Air with the best intentions. But when you get treated like dirt by everyone from captains, station managers, gate agents, passengers, SOC, crew scheduling and management I promise you your mindset will change. I wouldn't stay in any job after being treated like that when the next company comes along with a better offer. If you want my old job then take it! I'm glad I'm out!
