Gotta love aviation. Only in aviation would they not pay for your hotel in training. Sad. Asking guys to leave good jobs for the privilege of making 42k the first year and also foot the hotel bill.
Sherp.....I was told by my fellow pilots I misspoke about hotels during training. Apparently, 24 years ago when first year pay was $24,000 I was on my dime on day one. We will fill the positions with good guys who will make tons of $$$$$ during their careers and won't whine about the inconvenience of being not being spoon fed!
