This merger is still not complete after 6+ years and you fail to realize the actual cause.
- should have adopted either airlines identity. One side would have struggled but a solid foundation would have been in place. And we would have recovered by now.
- the post merger board should have been held more accountable for the DS stuff JS did. Furthermore they should go after any and all benefits the post merger board and executives walked away with.
- the current board should guide OM out the door. They allowed OM to stay in the job with a critical illness leaving the airline open for the GB takeover crowd. We still don't know what the pig-in-a-poke will bring. He's beginning to sound more like Rodney King - "can't we all just get along".
You want to blame employees for not singing the rah-rah cheer for things they have no control - not me. For those UAL guys that remember "high speed Howard" go as fast as you can for as long as you can and get as much as you can while you can. From a pilots prospective that's all we can do that matters. Put money aside for a rainy day.
Not sure how the quote relates? You think the 767-300's were not old or slated for retirement? You are babbling as usual might need to take your meds.
