Not surprised by this. Current furloughed pilots could have held CA on the last big bid a couple months ago. I imagine its alot easier to leave a CA spot at Virgin America or JetBlue when you can upgrade at UA in less than a year and make $100 an hour more.

Also with the signing of the new contact giving full longevity pay for furloughed pilots......we are going to see alot more coming back than we would have.
