How long would it take a new hire today to hold the right seat of a wide body and have weekends/most holidays off at Delta? Widebody pay and days off look nice, but weekends and holidays off are more important to me so I'm curious with the lack of WB growth at Delta how long would it take a new hire to see the right and left seat of a WB with a good schedule?
I've been here just shy of 9 years, Delta south hire. I can NOT hold that, even in NYC. My 767 schedule there would probably be a mix of low paying LHR trips on the weekends and uncommutable domestic trips. Ironically, I can't touch the schedules I had 2008-2010. AF and KLM does that flying now. I can just now hold the 330, mid level reserve in NY, and bottom of the pack in DTW.
