I have several family members with chronic health issues. No devices required, so I can't answer that part of your question, but for the rest, I just plan on hitting the maximum out of pocket every year. A FSA account can give you up to $2550 per year of your pretax money, saving a bunch in taxes. While you pay into it throughout the year, the entire amount is available on the first.
