Today's mandate reads as follows -"provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world." Nowhere does the words 'promote aviation' appear any longer.
Ask your management, I think some of them managed ValuJet if I'm not mistaken.
Well then.... I guess we'll just see if the FAA is as concerned about ALG's maintenance practices as the pilots seem to be.
