Dont worry, the legacies will have massive retirements and United needs 5,000 pilots over the next few years, Delta is taking more deliveries and will hire 800-1000 per year over the next few years, AA with more deliveries on the way and will hire 700-800 per year for awhile and new contracts with huge raises and QOL improvements, pretty soon everyone will just start to leave Spirit for a legacy job and Spirit management will start to panic a little bit and wont know what to do and be forced to improve the place to make it competitve just to keep pilots there
You know the best we can hope for is that the legacies moan and groan to the guvment about the lack of available pilots to hire and we get bought by a legacy. Put our management out to pasture and we end up on someone's seniority list. But, my luck we are gonna merge with Frontier to become a Mega Ultra Low Cost Carrier, a MULCC, the lowest of the low tiers.
