This is VERY important under a 401K scheme... It means a third year UAL pilot can be maxing out, while it will take a Delta pilot 10 to 15 years to make the top rate. (Comparing right seats).

Part of it is what it is.... mgmt decides what planes to buy. If they polled the pilots and asked if we supported an order of 50 777's, I'm pretty sure it would have nearly 99% approval (someone would vote no saying it should be 100 777's).

I'm not sure what part that we are to wake up to.... pay banding more planes into the top would be a wake up, but as another poster previously pointed out, it's hard to do without those at the top having the perception that they are funding a payraise for others.
