I've recently applied and I plan on going to the next chief pilot meet and greet (missed the last one). We've had a couple guys here at Lakes get hired at UA this year but I haven't heard any examples of Algt. Does Allegiant hire pilots without jet experience? I've read almost all of this thread and it sounds like it will be a nice move up from where I'm at.

Also, is the pay scale on APC accurate? I'm currently maxed out on the GLA FO pay scale so $41 would be a large pay increase for me and my family. Could this first year pay be lowered in other bands? Also, are the lines on the east coast (Florida, CVG, PIT) still completely all day trips? I just find this hard to believe so sorry for asking. Also has their been any recent new hires going to the 80 (haven't seen a recent post on this) since I know they are getting phased out? I would gladly fly any plane if hired but I really would prefer the MD80 if given a choice. If anyone could help with any of these questions I would be very appreciative.
