It's rare but there are all Airbus classes. It's more common to have all 80 classes or a mix of the 2. The 80 almost always goes junior in class.
I hate to say it but you can get a bigger pay raise at other regionals based on first year. Second year we are more but there is so much $hit going on that the pay comes with a huge price. Second, DO NOT commute. You would be lucky to get more than 3 days at home for a very long time if you try to commute. Good luck and I don't blame you for looking to move on from Lakes but you have other options.
Thank you so much for the reply. So what is the $41 first year pay in the lowest possible pay band? I've looked into other regionals but I've recently changed my outlook on life after having a kid and would rather change careers vs being away for most of the month. I've read about the occasional involuntary TDY and the wife was actually excited about it since she could go with to check out other cities for free (we can't afford vacations right now).
The wife agreed to move to PGD, SFB or CVG, basically anywhere with cheap cost of living. We are struggling financially right now in Denver. Also, I'm on my 5th year at GLA and I finally accepted an upgrade class but 5th year captain pay is only $38 here so I would rather move on.
