Keep in mind that per diem is basically nothing at Allegiant and there is little opportunity for soft pay. My experience has been that going from the famous $36.62 to Allegiant's $41 has been a decrease of anywhere from $300-600/mo in take-home pay.

The insurance that you choose could greatly hurt your bottom line and you might end up on the health insurance exchanges for a few months in order to cover the gap in coverage. I can't remember the exact details, but a couple of the family guys in my class needed temporary coverage.

Also, plan to be in Vegas for 90 days for training.

I'm not attempting to sway you one way or another, but these are factors that sometimes escape consideration. Best of luck to you.
