Jason, one correction. If a petition for finding of single carrier status is filed and the NMB finds that there is single carrier status. There isn't a damn thing the company can do to prevent merging of the lists under prior rulings.
Your 100% correct however merging the list doesn't necessarily mean merge under one contract (cba). I could be wrong but that is my understanding.
We have no retirement and no Cola on our current cba. You guys are literally generations ahead of us on contracts.
I just talked to a very close friend at Atlas and I know they are moving ahead in negotiations as well. I can't fathom in my wildest imagination why we here at ATI have decided to suspend negotiations. I'm sorry for being so negative. However, my income decides everything. It decides where I live and where my kids goes to school and what activities they can do. When someone is cutting me short it gets personal real fast.
