No disagreement from me. I have flown with quite a few who are itching to get into TK, the flight office, or work on special projects to spring board their intentions at United. So many in fact that it struck me as rather odd. I'm not saying they aren't bad pilots and I've thoroughly enjoyed working with all the new hires.

My question is how many interviews are we forgoing of those who are extremely good aviators but chose the life of a line pilot vs otherwise? United wants perspective when they hire Military vs civilian, male vs female, etc... right? All I'm saying is the guy who flies the line month in month out and puts food on the table for his family is a go getter in my book. They provide perspective as well.
