Allegiant made the news again. Hundreds of Pilots poised to leave due to unsafe business practices. Are you guys really trying to get out? I was thinking of leaving my regional after 9 years to go there, but I hear soo many bad things. I don't think its worth risking ruining my career.... According to the survey, 40% are actively looking for another job. 50% of the whole 700 pilot seniority list has been on property less than 2 years. The majority of the attrition comes from the bottom half of the list. With legacy paying $140/hr year 3 narrowbody FO, 16% retirement and profit sharing; it's hard for any low cost carrier pilot with not much vested in their mid forties or younger to turn that down. I haven't met too many on the top third or even top half of the list with current apps out.
