What do they expect to happen. They haven't lead for the 2 and 1/2 years I've been here and they're surprised pilots are taking matters into their own hands?
I hope they have the stones to tell management to pound sand. They should side with us, not them. They should tell management loud and clear there may be more of these incidents in the future.
If ALPA wants to take charge and actually lead they should be the ones setting the tone. If they don't like the amateur email then they should look at professional billboards and newspaper ads.
These guys will start to look out of touch with the sentiment on the line if they side with management.
