Plenty of ways to cover your tracks. A simple google search will teach you how.
Sure, put enough effort into tracing the sender, you could possibly find him/her... But do you think our IT department has the knowhow/resources? We have a generic email system... This company has basic infrastructure... We're being held together with cardboard and packing tape.
Anyway, Jyri sent out that email anyway. Case solved.
