Bro, like it or not, that may not be abuse. At the time he was offered the class date, were orders in hand? Did the company ask him point blank if orders were in hand? Did he lie about it?
In this situation, is he making his unit look bad? Yes
Would the company be justified in avoiding hiring other guys from his unit? Probably.
