this is why when the pollster called me for the third go around...my most important issue was NO concessions.....in any section of the contract.

The economic and work rule reality we face demands two things to 'recover' and restore for the future generation the value lost over the last 25+ years.....substantial improvements in every section....and safeguards to prevent eating our own.

this may take years. it may take a strike. some of us may not realize any economic benefit from this effort......but righting this ship will require that kind of commitment, and if necessary, sacrifice.

Hank....your recollection is probably correct...GS were assigned differently then, and absent pilot access to digital auditing....there were opportunities for all sorts of 'special' relationships with schedulers.
