Dragging their feet on the contract like they are keeps the infection spreading. It's hard to quantify the effects of that but I really don't want to see it ruin such a positive workplace that is the cornerstone of our business model.
I don't feel that anyone is dragging their feet on the contract. Anyone who thought the contract would take under 3 years has never been through a negotiation before. We are still on schedule and from what even ALPA reports out, making good progress.
That all may change, but for now let's keep it real and not mix emotion into the conversation. The guys who are upset with the timeline are the guys who don't understand the process, and are unrealistic about what it takes to get an agreement.
