And back to my previous question, how is waiting for that legacy to call going? Any prospects or are you just waiting for them to "see the light!" and give you a shot at interviewing?
Just like Eaglefly, I've never said Envoy is going to fail. They won't. AA likes their cheap feed and they will continue to throw dollars at Envoy and the other wholly owneds to keep them afloat for as long as they can staff them. Delta is throwing money at Republic. Seems that they too are addicted to cheap feed.
You are just a kid who has very little experience with anything other than being a CFI and an Envoy FO. Take a look at what AMR has done in the past. AAG is copying it and in fact has taken to a whole new level. With your limited Envoy experience, you just admitted that yourself in a post today. Talk to some senior guys about to flow and see if they believe that AAG will honor what they have said their plan is. Plans can change.
And that's what I'm saying. Envoy isn't going to fail. AAG isn't going to let it fail. What is in jeopardy though is the Ponzi scheme flow. Just like Bernie Madoff's pyramid money scheme where he ran out of money to keep paying "dividends" to current investors to keep other unsuspecting saps coming in the door, AAG has done the same thing with the flow. It's a carrot to lure people in the door when there aren't enough bodies to replace the guys leaving. Unfortunately, the carrot really isn't working anymore with Envoy's dismal hiring numbers.
I would recommend that you do some research and not just sit back waiting on that flow to carry you away to AA. Yes, it might still happen, but I believe that just as the 2.5 year upgrade has been debunked, the 6 year flow will be as well. You might indeed flow someday, however flowing with 10 to 12 or more years of seniority at Envoy is a real possibility.
Applying to Allegiant might to be a fit for you but I would recommend investigating any and all avenues and not just waiting for Envoy to drop you off AA's doorstep.
