I stand by my previous statements. You keep arguing this "whole person" concept but no one, myself included, is saying that a degree makes a "whole person". I agree without reservation that there are many many many more variable that go into making someone a well-rounded and competitive candidate. So I'm not sure who you are arguing against. My point was and still is that a degree DOES still matter to places considered by many to be the "dream job" and that having a degree, especially a BS or Masters, from a school people recognize is still a way to stand out in what is still a crowded pilot marketplace. But if you're fine ignoring that box and waiting until the bar lowers...well fine. That's your choice and I would never begrudge anyone their own personal choices.

But at least tell me you see the irony of arguing that a degree doesn't matter any more in a thread started by a guy looking for the easiest way to get a degree that isn't "too hard".
