I have a question. I don't know much about unions. As a new hire, if the union decides that a strike is necessary, are you protected? I wondered if you are on "probation" your first year and the mgmt can fire you for any reason.

You are not protected by the company; but, you are FULLY protected by the union. If the company fires you; we will not come back to work until the probationary crewmembers are reinstated and made whole. Period.
