Loss of License Insurance for FedEx
I always thought that I wouldn't need this. Decent family history, try to stay healthy. But lately I've been hearing about a number of pilots that I know going out on medical, and they seemed pretty healthy too. It has made me start thinking about getting some sort of supplemental disability insurance, or loss of license insurance. I figured that many of you have already checked this out.
It seems like the more common ones are ALPA, Harvey Watt, and Lloyd's of London. ALPA seems pretty expensive, for what you get. However, a policy is pretty useless unless it's actually usable, if there are too many restrictions and hoops to jump over, it's not worth the money.
Anyone have a strong feeling on what policies are actually worth it? Especially if it's something you or someone you know has utilized.
