I have a question. I don't know much about unions. As a new hire, if the union decides that a strike is necessary, are you protected? I wondered if you are on "probation" your first year and the mgmt can fire you for any reason.

Though I don't work for Atlas I've worked for two companies with union rep. from the Teamsters. To sum it up, the union has always been adamant that, "no one goes back to work, until everyone goes back to work!"
