I seem to remember being in a recurrent class awhile back when ol' bendo came in and said he could give us United or Delta rates, but we'd have to accept United and Delta's work rules. No one in the class was too willing to listen to that load of manure then. Have we changed our minds? Are we willing to forego transition conflict, line bidding, vacation conflicts, training conflicts, 5 days off (even though these clowns only seem to recognize 4 days off), 29/7, etc. for a higher hourly rate? I'm thinkin we'll never see a DC approaching 15-16%, so I'm not even putting that into the equation. I think we'll get a little more in four to five years when we get a TA, but we're deluding ourselves if we think this Piggly Wiggly Airline is gonna pay us 176 bucks an hour to raise the gear in a 321.
