777 reserve isn't exactly like sitting 320 reserve. Widebody reserve often goes senior. I know a 4th yr 787 in LA that flys about once every other month on reserve.
And with Uniteds reserve system (unless it's changed with the CO thing....)
A few strategically placed sick calls- you can EASILY go 6 months.....
