I mean, when the perf data comes back it will likely have tail# and flight#, people and bag count. It's just there for you already as seats are counted during boarding when tickets are scanned, and bags are uploaded the second they close the bin. What more do you need? Saves tons of time IMO. Now instead of waiting for the pax counts and bag counts, they are loaded up to the system and likely sent to us up front long before we would even have the paper copy in the first place.
Seems like everyday I hear a Delta flight say over ops that's they are waiting on the WDR. I like the ability to change things on the fly, especially when it comes to runways and intersections.
Just this morning I loaded one runway, based on the current ATIS, but the winds were favoring the opposite runways. I loaded both just incase ATC decided to change it and they did end up changing it. That's one less call to had to make to ops:
"Hey, can we get knew numbers for the other runway?"
Though, I don't know how their system works just my armchair thinking on the outside looking in.
