This is a slippery slope. You have no idea why someone is picking up time. Could be greed and selfishness or maybe they have others to take care of. Like a loved one needing special medical treatment and the bills are piling up. To seek out these people and then ask them why they are doing it is none of your business. Are you going to be the one who determines what is and isn't an acceptable reason for picking up time?
