Which means you skyhigh, and everyone else, are allow to be bitter and ****ed, but that also means, that the rest of us that have had positive experiences are allowed to be happy about our chosen careers.
Aviation is subjective, and so is gambling. I am sure that the most recent powerball winner has nothing but good things to say about the lottery too. The truth is that the odds are pretty long of any of us having a smooth and unbroken career as they did 20 years ago.
