And more recently we had a
high priced designer quit when designing the post-merger uniforms because she would not put her name on the crappy stuff ($$$) that UA demanded. Her designs never saw the light of day. That's when UA hired
Cintas (who is well known for providing uniforms for janitors, factory workers, and fast food employees) to design and provide the uniforms for all the employee groups except pilots.
As noted earlier, M&H provided pilot uniforms to UAL that were exactly what was requested. Smisek wanted cheap and they delivered in spades.
