I just love the holding pattern entry... Reminds me of a hold I did as a new FO at some random VOR/NDB intersection near DTW on the DC-9 back in the early 90's. Planes were stacked everywhere and that fix was all approach had left for us to use (approach controller was absolutely swamped). We eventually got into DTW despite my lousy NDB holding skills.
