People are mad that our contract negotiations are dragging and then come on here and say what they think is happening which isn't even close to reality. Is the well drying up? Yes but not to the extent that the opinions on here would lead you to believe. There are still PLENTY of apps from pilots with thousands of hours of experience, even though lots may utilize it as a stepping stone. If you have 1500 hours go to a regional for a year or two and then apply... Hopefully this contract crap will be behind us. Thank you for the honest insight. I have noticed that there is a lot of exaggeration on these forums about how bad things are. Not just this airline but almost every one on here. That was about the time line I had in mind, 1-2 years. I don't mind putting in some work, was just curious how long it would take.
