If you're one of the lucky ones who happens to get based at home as a new hire...getting called every day on reserve might suck. But if you're stuck in a crappy crash pad in a city far from home...then flying everyday on reserve maybe isn't so bad. Like they said, you get off probation faster, and you're not living in a crappy crash pad. Flying a lot as a new hire is not a bad thing. Whatever situation you find yourself in, welcome to the company! You're going to have a good time. Enjoy the ride!
