1 - Get a 717 or 737 spot since they are based in LA. That way you will at least have a shot at AEing out there before your year seat lock is up.
2 - No clue, but I fly SNA and SAN out of ATL quite a bit and I'd say we are more likely to have a jumpseater out of SAN than SNA. That is obviously just a small sampling of the true story, but that's my observation.
