For better or worse, I have left the ****hole that Envoy is. You guys have said that you'll be laughing from your seats at AA while I'm desperately trying to get on at a major.

That seems more unlikely in the short term as the days go by. Your leader has already admitted 2.5/6 was "off a bit." 2.5/6 becomes 4/8 which becomes 8/16 and lots of Envoy guys will be still waiting their turn to flow after a decade or more of service. I've suggested for your own good to pull your heads out of the sand and consider other opportunities. To sit back and just "wait to flow" is at your own detriment.
