I had heard the same thing as clearleft. I'm sure it was a new hire snafu deal with HR. But when they (more than one) told me about it, it wasn't so much that they didn't get paid on time, it was the way the company handled it. Both instructors and the Management told them tough ****, and if they didn't like it, theres the door.
