It's hard to say how many "lines" there are out of BWI because of PBS and the monthly ebb and flow of what fleet flies the trips from there.
For example, in June there were only 15 trips the whole month on the Airbus that started in BWI. For July its around 73 trips for the whole month.
The 737 had 43 trips in BWI for June and 70 trips for July.
Unless you are senior, don't expect to get a pure line of BWI flying, if any at all.

I had a different experience with BWI than what you describe. Granted, this was back in 2007 when I was a new hire and the trip trading was actually useable. I flew almost exclusively out of BWI with an occasional trip out of DCA. I can count on one hand the number of times I had to go out of Dulles.
At that time, BWI would be available for junior guys. We had a group of 7-8 captains and a similar # of FOs that would all fly out of BWI. I flew with the same dudes most of the time.
I'm not sure this would be possible today...it's just to hard to trade trips unless the days match up perfectly.
