I worked the ramp before my airline job, and short of knowing to wear ear plugs and stay away from turning props, it hasn't benefitted me working in the cockpit whatsoever.

I got my multi in 3.9 hours in a Beech travel air, a burly twin that is older than the two of us combined.

This sounds like I am trying to start a peeing match with you, and I assure you am not. Recently I have realized I come across as a jerk, so I am trying to change that.

What 727ups said above is spot on. Previously I wasn't a fan of him, but that post changed my mind. Read it and take it to heart.

Finish up school, get your ratings and some time, then come to the regionals. It's the right way to do it.
