Some months you end up with 6-10+ days off between two months transitioning, some months you might get 1 day off. Depends on what you bid, what you want, and seniority. Every line is different.
You can't have 14-15 days off 4day trip line with only 2 days off EVERY week. Obviously you get more days off than that. Look at a calendar and do the math with 15 days off in a month between 4 day trips.
You might have (4) 4days a month. Or (3) 4 days and a (1) 3 day or whatever. It varies.
So doing 4 on 2 off is good? Especially when they're non commutable? So yeah at the end of the month it gets better, but in-between your not home for 2 weeks, yeah sounds great.
