It's funny that the new hires know more about the UAL and CAL histories then you - why is that? Do you find your F/O's looking out the right side more lately? Wait, you are a captain - right?
I don't want to get into the debate y'all are having ( I have no place in it ), but I
am extremely interested in the history. Is the book you refered to a good start point?
Please tell me that the cockpits aren't as contentious as these threads. I've held both CAL and UAL on a pedestal for a while. The combination of these airlines (from the outside) seems like a great place to be. I truly hope that my "Target" airline is not/will not become what US Air and AWA became....
Am I wrong?
