Sometimes the safest thing to do is go to somewhere else and wait it out. Granted they made tough decisions and landed safely, but what good is having a plan B or C (alternates) if you're you're not going to use them when you can't get into your destination?
They did. They went to destination, couldn't get in and then went to choice C because they couldn't get to B. At choice C, they experienced wind sheer. How is that hard to understand ?
